As a Chinese Medicine Practitioner, I emphasize the link between mental and physical well-being and the importance of human interaction in promoting healing. I specialize in addressing psychological issues (known as shen, or spirit) such as feeling down, worried or overwhelmed, as well as problems with digestion, hormones, and sleep. This means we will have conversations about your energy levels and all aspects of your life that are relevant, such as your dreams, stress levels, digestion, discomfort, and menstrual cycle.
I’m a NCCAOM board-certified acupuncturist with experience in private practice and hospital clinics, specializing in mental health, women’s health, fertility, oncology, and palliative care. Additionally, I hold a certification in clinical aromatherapy (CCAP), harnessing the power of essential oils to enhance the healing process. As a Reiki Master Teacher, I have trained compassionate hospital-based volunteers in oncology clinics. Furthermore, I have had the privilege to teach Reiki Levels I and II to health care providers, equipping them with a deeper understanding of energetic healing techniques.
By blending the art of ancient Eastern traditions with modern Western philosophies, I strive to provide my patients with comprehensive and personalized care. Together, we embark on a journey towards physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, creating harmony and balance in their lives.

As a psychoanalytically-informed therapist, I believe our minds are more than just our conscious selves. The unconscious influences our dreams, emotions, and thoughts. Disharmony between the conscious and unconscious minds results in symptoms and a lack of depth and vitality.
As your therapist, I offer a safe space for you to freely express your concerns and thoughts. By verbalizing your wishes, fears, and actions, we can strengthen the connection between different parts of your mind and life. This leads to a better relationship with yourself and others.
I have studied psychoanalysis since college at the University of Chicago, where I also explored Central Asian healing traditions and shamanism. In law school at UCLA, I focused on federal Indian law and tribal legal systems. After working as a teacher and tutor, mostly in Chicago, I became a psychotherapist in Milwaukee. I obtained my counseling degree from Mt. Mary University and received specialized training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy through the Medical College of Wisconsin’s Psychiatry Department and the Wisconsin Psychoanalytic Institute.
